Queen’s Oak currently has twenty-plus members from the ages of 15 to 60 with all age ranges represented. The side is open to men too, though only as musicians. If you would like to dance or play in the band we’d love to see you. Get in touch with the Bagman, come along to a practice, come and watch us dance out somewhere or even come along to the pub on a Tuesday after practice.

Under 16 year olds are welcome, but we do stipulate that they should be accompanied by an adult side member, be it parent or guardian. Girls under the age of 16 may be allowed to dance out with the side at the discretion of the Squire and Foreman. Musicians under 16 are most welcome, but similarly, permission to play for the side in public will be at the discretion of the Officers. 

Subs are currently set at £8 per quarter. New members are not asked to pay for their first quarter.
